Dear Servas International Key People,|
This message is to announce that William D’Souza is the newly appointed Servas International Treasurer, for the period from Feb 1, 2017 until the next Servas International General Assembly in 2018.
In August 2016, the elected SI Treasurer, L V Subramanian, told SI Exco that he would be resigning for personal reasons. Since that time, LV has continued to fill the role of SI Treasurer, and has been active in the search for a new treasurer. He is also ensuring that the hand over to the new treasurer is smooth.
I would have loved to continue my term till the GA 2018 but i was advised by the medical authorities here that I was on the borderline of both sugar/pressure, it was imperative that I should take complete rest and avoid stress related work.
Hence my resignation.
I take this opportunity to thank one and all for the wonderful support and cooperation extended by you during my tenure as Treasurer.
The SI Statutes state:
