Urgent host request from Czech  I have received email from Czech during the Italy travelling.He wants to travel to Seoul 6.3-6.6 Any one who lives in Seoul or near Seoul Korea servas member and want to host, send email to Mr Cyril and receive Loii email address- cyril.pospisil@hotmail.com ======================================= Dear SERVAS coordinators, Mr. Lee, Mr. Ryu, Mrs. Jun and Mr. Yang, I am SERVAS traveler from the Czech Republic and I would just like to ask you for your opinion. I tried to contact four SERVAS Hosts in Seoul last weekend. One address returned me the error message and three others didn't. I tried to contact: - - " he had sent email to wrong city servas member and got no reply yet. I am planning to go to Seoul 3.6-6.6 and I don't actually need someone to have me. I was just interested in some cultural exchange while I am there. I am just wondering if this is normal or if you think something could happen or is it like cultural thing? Of course, not every SERVAS Host accepts the traveler and that is absolutely ok, but this is the first time nobody even replied - positively nor negatively. What is your opinion? I attach my LOI with stamp validity till August as a proof I am SERVAS member. I used the SERVAS Host List for 2009 because our coordinator didn't have newer - but I guess people don't change the email account every year. Best regards and nice talking to you Cyril |

《Re》최병완 님 , 내가 생각하기에는, 이 체코 청년은 통상적인 외국인 서바스 여행자와는 성향이 다른 것 같습니다. 조급한 성격인 데다가, 코디네이터에게 의뢰하여 숙식 제공하는 아무회원이나 방문하는 것이 아니라 자기가 리스트에서 선정하여 메일로 호스트 의사를 물은 다음 세분이 왜 가, 부 간에 연락을 안 하는지에 대한 궁금증과 불만인 듯 합니다. 내게 보낸 메일에서 코디에게 요청하지 않은 것은 서바스는 우정과 개방성에 기초하기 때문이라는 것입니다. 그리고 네 지부장에게 한 질문의 성격은 이러한 믿음에 합당한 것이라는 것입니다. 먼저 그가 접촉 시도한 세분 서울 회원이 아직도 가부간의 회신을 안 했으면, 조속한 회신이 중요하다고 봅니다. 4명의 지부장에게 보낸 메일의 요지는 호스트를 구해달라는 것이 아니라 자기가 선정한 호스트가 왜 아무런 응답이 없는지에 대한 질문입니다. 이것이 자연적인가? 무슨 사고가 난 것인가. 문화적 문제인가? 이것이 궁금한 것이죠. 서바스 여행의 본질을 생각하게 하는 사안입니다. 자기가 선정하지 않은 호스트가 자꾸 초청을 제의하는 것은 이 친구의 바라는 것이 아니라고 봅니다.
